BOB & LLOYD BARNES

Bob & Lloyd Barnes are twin brothers living in the Cariboo region of British Columbia.  Their remarkable high realism oil paintings feature the local fauna and flora from their home region.  Their style, technique and skill are so similar that they are able to flawlessly collaborate on the same piece. 

Now retired, hundreds of pieces of their artwork have been sold all over the world.  Sid has built a decades long relationship with them, and has a large catalogue of art that can be reproduced.

NICHOLAS BOTT

Nicholas Bott was born in Holland in 1941 to a large family with 7 siblings.  His family chose to immigrate to Canada in 1958, to the very small town of Smithers in Northern BC to find more options and opportunities.  His first job as a painter was to paint sign on the sides of lumber trucks. 

Nicholas studied at the University of British Columbia and the Chicago School of Art.  He was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh and the Group of 7.

As an avid outdoorsman, Nicholas was inspired by the natural beauty of the Canada.  He would travel to remote locations to paint natural landscapes with his post-Impressionist style of strong outlines, bold colours, thick brush strokes and simple forms. 

Nicholas passed away in 2021.  CopyCat is pleased to be working with his wife, Sharon, to offer these 3D texture prints of some of his work. 

rOD CHARLESWORTH

Rod Charlesworth was born in Terrace, BC in 1955. He attended Okanagan University College in the 1970’s where he studied art, but consider his skills and techniques to be primarily self-taught. He now resides in Kelowna, BC.

His work has been influenced by impressionism and the Group of Seven, which further develop his interest in playing with the colour and texture of paint. He is best known for his vivid landscapes that celebrate the culture and natural beauty of Canada.

His art is now collected worldwide.

richard freeman

Richard Freeman was born in Leicester, England in 1932, and fulfilled his childhood dream of moving to the wide open spaces of Canada in 1955.

After a start in Ottawa, he spent many of his early years in Canada raising horses on his own land in Alberta. When his children were still young, he committed to full-time painting. His works shows his understanding of line and perspective; shadow and light; proportion and a keen attention to detail. Foremost a landscape painter, his success as a full-time painter increased when he began adding cowboys and horses to his paintings. Once he was an established artist, he moved to Peachland, British Columbia while being featured in art shows across Western Canada.

Richard Freeman was a loving partner and father, a tremendous piano player and an incredible contribution to Canadian Art. His family was devastated when he was terminally diagnosed with Cancer in 1991. His family still owns many of his original pieces, and CopyCat is very proud to work with them to offer these prints,

CLEMENT KWAN

Clement Kwan was in born in South China, and immigrated to Canada in 1979. He now lives and paints in Victoria, British Columbia, where he finds much of the inspiration for his current work.

He wants to bring joy to his customers, which is evident in his work. He combines realism with impressionism, and the joy and light in his subjects always shine through.

He is a Senior Signature Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Signature Member of Oil Painters of America. His artwork can be found in museums, private collections and galleries in Canada, the USA, China & England.

DOMINIK MODLINSKI

Dominik Modlinski is a renowned Canadian artist who is most known for his Canadian wilderness landscapes.  He was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1970 and emigrated to Canada at the age of 16.    

His passion for wilderness and preservation has led him across the globe to many remote locations and rugged terrain to create his Plein Air style paintings.  His work is a true celebration of the natural beauty of the landscape he’s travelled to.

Ron hedrick

Ron Hedrick has called BC home since he was born in Vancouver in 1942.  His professional career as an artist began in 1981, when he was inspired by his natural surroundings at his lakeside home at Paul Lake, near Kamloops. 

Ron has been described as an impressionist and colourist, while always exploring the movement of light in his work.  Much of his work over the years has been inspired by the local landscapes and seascapes in BC.  Other work features captivating still life or landscapes inspired by Monet and others.
